The Ministry of Education requires that all localities purchase school bus products in accordance with the “Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products Announcement” in order to ensure the safety of school buses from the source.

Recently, the inter-ministerial meeting of the school bus safety management office issued a notice to remind localities to buy from the “Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products Announcement” when purchasing school buses for primary school students and young children, so as to avoid the possibility of failing to purchase unqualified school buses. Problems such as license cards and ensuring the safety of school buses from the source.

The notice pointed out that in order to ensure the quality and safety of school buses, since 2007, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has incorporated school bus production enterprises and products into the "Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products Bulletin" for management. As of October 16 this year, 441 school bus products have been issued in 35 batches and a total of 52 manufacturing enterprises.

It is reported that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will continue to publish the “Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products Announcement” through the website. Schools and kindergartens around the country are invited to pay close attention to the changes in school bus production enterprises and product information, and to ensure that school buses that meet the national school bus standards are selected.
