The practice of purchasing vehicles in the public transportation industry is point-based system. Bus companies are generally what the bus companies need to produce, but whether the products are really suitable is not necessarily, and the vehicle manufacturers are also passive.

When Li Daoxin, deputy general manager of Tianjin Public Transport Group, introduced the test results of the LK6210GT energy-saving and environmentally friendly products on the bus line in Tianjin, the attention of the participants was concentrated. From September to November this year, Tianjin Bus trialed two LCK6120GT buses , equipped with manual transmissions and automatic transmissions, and put in different lines to carry out no-load and actual operation tests.

Li Daoxin read a set of data at the meeting: From September 27 to November 10, two test vehicles were continuously operated on four lines of Tianjin Bus for 45 days, and the total mileage was about 15,000 kilometers. Vehicles can meet the bus lines. In normal operation, the LCK6210GT equipped with a manual transmission has an average fuel saving rate of about 4 liters per 100 km. Due to different lines, the overall fuel saving rate is about 10%.

After listening to Li Daoxin’s introduction, Liu Junlan, Changchun’s Minister of Public Transport Technology, was quite interested in: “If we can really achieve a fuel saving rate of 10%, the benefits will be considerable. Faced with fluctuations in crude oil prices, the cost control of public transport companies is now very serious. The fuel saving rate reaches 10%. For Tianjin buses, if each vehicle achieves this effect, it will save tens of millions of yuan in fuel costs in a year. Even if some public transport companies’ profits are not so obvious, it is no doubt that fuel costs now account for more than 1/3 of the total cost of the company.

Fully enter the domestic bus market

Energy conservation and environmental protection is the inevitable direction for the development of the bus industry in the future. In this direction, Zhongtong has been making every effort to create the image of an energy-saving and environmental leader. “New energy is a trend, and traditional fuel-saving is in the moment”, and the energy saving of existing models is undoubtedly more realistic and more urgent.

After two years of hard work, the LCK6120GT and LCK6103HG were formally launched this year. At the seminar, most of the heads of public transport companies expressed interest in the two products. It is understood that they are not only fuel-efficient, but also include a large amount of passengers.

These three items are patented innovations of Zhongtong . The advantage is that under the premise of not significantly increasing the cost price, the vehicle trim quality is light, the comfort is high, the structure is simple, the space is expanded, and the passenger carrying capacity is increased. This also means that the vehicles increase passenger capacity while reducing fuel consumption, which leads to a significant drop in passenger fuel costs per person and increases the efficiency of the bus companies. This is another sense of savings.

Zhongtong has high hopes for these two models.
