Shanghai Mould Industry Association helps mold industry development

Shanghai is China's economic and trade and financial center, the leading city in the economic belt of the Yangtze River Delta, and also the birthplace of China's modern manufacturing industry and an important R&D and production base. Since the reform and development, the development of the Shanghai mold industry, which has a profound foundation, is even more powerful.

Over the past five years, Shanghai’s industrial economy has continued to grow rapidly. The automotive industry, aerospace and aviation, electronic communications, new materials, electricity, petrochemicals, household appliances, electrical appliances, building materials, and other areas have been further developed, and great demands have been placed on molds. At the same time, Shanghai's superior geographical conditions and a favorable investment environment have attracted many outstanding domestic and foreign companies to settle in, which has also led to a significant increase in the technological level and management level of the Shanghai mold industry. According to statistics from the Shanghai Mould and Die Industry Association, private enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises have developed most rapidly and have become the main force in the Shanghai mold industry. The output value of Shanghai's mold industry grows at a rate of more than 20% every year, and the momentum is strong.

Industry associations are indispensable

The Shanghai Tooling Industry Association played an indispensable role in this process. Since its establishment in December 1994, the Shanghai Mould Industry Association has gone through nearly 15 years of miles. While witnessing the rapid development of the mold industry, it has also continued to grow and develop, giving full play to the industry’s leadership and its role as a bridge between the government and the enterprise. .

On February 20, 2009, the Shanghai Mould Industry Association organized the fourth member representative meeting and the first council. At the meeting, Mr. Chen Yinda, Chairman of the Third Board of Directors, said that in the five years from 2004 to 2008, the Shanghai mold industry had a large increase in the number of companies and the output value of molds. At present, the city has more than 3,000 mold-making and mold-related companies with a certain scale. The number of employees is 100,000, and the annual production value of molds reaches 20 billion yuan. Information technology, hot runner and gas assist technology, rapid prototyping technology, and high-speed cutting technology have played an important role in improving the level of molds. Highly technically intensive, automotive molds that embody advanced mold making techniques are difficult to manufacture and require high precision. Multi-function multi-function progressive die has also made great progress. However, there is still a gap between Shanghai's mold industry and the international advanced level. In particular, large-scale, sophisticated, complex, long-life, high-efficiency molds are still an important task for the industry.

However, despite the rapid growth of the national economy, the rapid development of the mold industry, Shanghai mold management, production technology and manufacturing levels have greatly improved, the mold industry still can not meet the rapid development needs of the national economy, compared with the international advanced level The gap, especially the large-scale, sophisticated, complex, long-lived mode has a part that needs to be imported. With the continuous adjustment of China's economic structure, technical structure, and product structure, the requirements for precision molds are constantly increasing.

At the meeting, the reelection at the scene resulted in the creation of the fourth council and the supervisory committee.

The president of the third session of the Board of Directors, Chen Yinda, former vice president of Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (Group) Corporation, will continue to serve as the president of the fourth council, and Liu Depu, vice president and secretary-general of the third council of the Shanghai Mould Industry Association. He will continue to serve as the fourth secretary general of the board of directors and executive vice president. CPPCC Standing Committee, Director of the Economic Committee Le Jing Peng, Honorary President of the Third Board of Shanghai Mould & Die Industry Association Li Xiaohang, Vice Chairman of the Third Board of Directors of Shanghai Mould & Die Industry Association Mou Xueyi will be the fourth member of the Shanghai Mould Industry Association Honorary President of the Council.

Helping industry companies to spend the "winter"

President Chen Yinda introduced that in the face of the severe situation brought about by the current economic crisis and many other factors, the Shanghai Mould and Die Industry Association will actively encourage enterprises to innovate, apply for patents, apply for high-tech enterprises, help enterprises to implement bank loans, and actively seek value-added Taxes will be refunded before the preferential policy. The mold industry is overtaxed by many companies, which severely restricts the sustainable development of the company. The association has coordinated with the relevant government agencies several times to further expand the scope of the tax refund policy. On average, 8 enterprises are entitled to preferential returns after the VAT levy each year. Through the tax rebate, it has promoted the technological transformation of enterprises and improved the market competitiveness of enterprises.

In addition, the 4th Board of Directors will help member companies to open up the domestic and international mold market, adjust the product structure in the economic crisis, further develop and improve the mold industry standards, and actively carry out talent training in the mold industry, and actively carry out mold and technology exchange activities at home and abroad.

As a more targeted initiative, the Shanghai Mould Industry Association has been calling for the creation of an automotive mold innovation alliance. Provide advice to member units, through the alliance, increase auto innovation of auto mold enterprises, share technology, enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises, and resist risk; encourage enterprises to actively invest in independent research and development and technological innovation, and apply for patents and apply for high-tech projects in Shanghai. Technical enterprises come to enjoy state tax incentives and do a good job of consulting, service, and consulting for companies. Another feasible solution that has already been done is to sign a contract with the bank to help match the financing of the member units and help the small and medium-sized enterprises to solve the financing difficulties.

Polyether Polyols

This series products are the block and random copolymers made from allyl alcohol, EO and PO. And they are main materials for synthesizing polyether polysiloxane. Polyether modified polysiloxane can dissolve in the water and oil, and it is easy to regulate. It has all the excellent performances of the traditional polysiloxane product, in the meanwhile, it has the function of the lubricating, softening, good spreading and emulsification stability offered by polyether chains. And it can be used as PU foam stabilizers, textile auxiliary, oil field demulsifier, cosmetic auxiliary, coating leveling agent, detergent, defoaming agent and emulsifier etc. the copolymer of the polyether reacting with hydrogen containing silicone oil can be applied as PU foam stabilizers , textile auxiliary, oil field demulsifier and emulsifier etc..
