National Development and Reform Commission to Add 3 Auto Manufacturing Companies

On June 29, the National Development and Reform Commission issued an announcement on its official website to publicize the three new automobile manufacturers, including Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd. Nanjing Company and Yuejin Automobile Group Co., Ltd., to be added.

Among them, Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd. Nanjing Company is located in Nanjing Jiangning Economic and Technological Development Zone, is a non-independent legal person branch company; Yuejin Automobile Group Company is located in Nanjing Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, is a car manufacturer; another to be added Liang Shanhong Da Van Truck Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a special vehicle manufacturer. The Ministry of Communications issued the Olympic Games traffic guarantee and transportation service plan

According to the “Implementation Plan for Highway Traffic Protection and Transport Services for the Beijing Olympics and its Test Tournament” recently released by the Ministry of Communications, the transportation department will set up an “Olympic Expressway” at the highway toll station where Olympic vehicles may pass.

The "Olympic Expressway" network includes the (Beijing) Beijing-Shenyang (Yang) Expressway from Beijing to Qinhuangdao, Qinhuangdao-Shenyang, Jingjintang Expressway and its second channel, the Tianjin-Tangshan Expressway, and the Tianjin-Yongxian Expressway. Beijing Capital Airport Expressway, Jingshi Expressway Beijing Section and Hebei Section, Qingdao Airport Expressway, Shanghai to Hongqiao Airport and Pudong Airport Expressway, and Shenyang City Airport Expressway.

Vehicles holding Olympic Special Passes will be given priority access to the "Olympic Fast Track." For Olympic-special vehicles that have police cars to clear the way, each toll station will adopt the method of first counting and releasing and then centralizing settlement to ensure that it does not stop during driving.
