Microhydrogen injection technology for internal combustion engines selected for major national science and technology projects

The micro-hydrogen internal combustion engine injection technology independently initiated by Wuhan Microhydrogen Technology Co., Ltd. has recently been listed in the National Science and Technology Major Project Support Program, which indicates that the technology will be promoted throughout the country.

It is understood that the principle of micro-hydrogen injection technology for internal combustion engines is to inject hydrogen-oxygen mixed reactive gas generated after the electrolysis of water into the engine combustion chamber to promote full combustion of fuel, thereby increasing power and reducing emissions. After testing, Wuhan City has adopted this technology for more than 1,300 buses, and tail smoke emissions have been reduced by an average of 59%, saving more than 5%.

At present, the micro-hydrogen injection technology for internal combustion engines has been used in vehicles such as cars, buses, ships, and heavy trucks . According to the engine operating conditions, the average fuel consumption is reduced by 5% to 15%, the nitrogen oxide emissions are reduced by 10% to 30%, and particulate emissions are reduced by more than 50%.

In March 2013, after China's largest engineering machinery manufacturer, Sany Heavy Industry, tried the micro-hydrogen injection technology of internal combustion engines for the latest set of cement mortar equipment, tail gas emissions fell by 78.8%. Li Yong, chairman of Wuhan Microhydrogen Technology Co., Ltd., said that the technical device runs synchronously with the engine, and the engine shutdown and the electrolytic power supply are simultaneously shut down, and the production is ready for use. At the same time, the installation is convenient and does not change the engine fuel system and intake and exhaust systems.
