Domestic large and medium-sized passenger cars stabilized and recovered sales exceeded 210,000 in the first half of 2011


According to the statistical data submitted by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on 100 bus manufacturers, in June 2011, the domestic passenger car market demand picked up rapidly, showing a rapid growth both on a month-on-year basis and year-on-year. In the first half of 2011, the growth rate of passenger car sales in the country was higher than that in the first five months, showing signs of stabilization and recovery.

In June 2011, the country's bus sales totaled 47,700 units, a year-on-year increase of 20.89%, a year-on-year increase of 15.49%, and a production and sales rate of 106.31%. The three major types of large-, medium- and light-duty buses showed rapid growth year-on-year and year-on-year, with medium-sized passenger cars growing fastest. In June 2011, the sales of large passenger cars totaled 0.76 million units, a month-on-year increase of 21.67%, a year-on-year increase of 10.04% and a ratio of sales to sales of 102.13%; sales of medium-sized passenger cars were 75,000 units, an increase of 40.98% month-on-month, and a year-on-year increase of 18.05%. The sales rate was 103.65%. The sales volume of light passenger vehicles was 26,600 units, an increase of 15.98% compared with the previous period, and a year-on-year increase of 16.42%. The production and sales rate was 108.36%.

In the first half of 2011, the total number of passenger cars sold was 217,700, an increase of 9.58% year-on-year, and the sales-to-sales ratio was 104.79%. Among them, the number of large passenger vehicles sold was 35,200, an increase of 11.44%, and the sales ratio was 103.29%; the sales of medium-sized passenger cars were 35,800, an increase of 5.13% over the same period of last year; the sales and sales ratio was 101.83%; the sales of light buses were 143,700, an increase of 10.29% over the same period of last year. The rate is 105.94%.

Compared with the same period of 2010, among the six major regions in China, the growth rate in the east China region is the fastest, the growth rate in the Northeast China has slowed down compared to the previous five months, the South-Central and Southwestern regions have maintained slight growth, and the demand in North China and the Northwest China has continued to decline. Trends, including the decline in North China has increased. In the first half of 2011, sales in East China were 66,600 units, a year-on-year increase of 16.99%; sales in Northeast China were 16,300 units, an increase of 7.46% year-on-year; sales in Central and South China were 30,100 units, an increase of 0.86% year-on-year; sales in Southwest China were 17,400, a year-on-year increase. 3.15%; North China sales of 24,500 units, a year-on-year decrease of 13.31%; Northwest sales of 10,900 units, a year-on-year decrease of 11.16%.

The sales growth of articulated buses continued to increase rapidly, the growth rate of small passenger vehicles also exceeded 10%, the demand for urban passenger cars rebounded, the drop in demand for long-distance passenger cars slowed down, and the decline in tourism and private buses still ranked in the front rank. In the first half of 2011, minibus sales reached 93,200 units, an increase of 11.00% year-on-year; long-distance bus sales were 33,200 units, a year-on-year decrease of 1.83%; urban passenger car sales were 28,100 units, an increase of 2.33% year-on-year; and tourist bus sales were 0.90, down year-on-year. 19.72%; 2,145 private buses sold, a year-on-year decrease of 24.15%; and 152 articulated buses were sold, an increase of 3.8 times year-on-year.

In June 2011, the top 10 passenger car manufacturers in terms of sales volume were: Brilliance Jinbei, Jiangling, Zhengzhou Yutong, Nanjing Iveco, Suzhou Jinlong, Xiamen Golden Brigade, Beiqi Futian, Jinlong United, Zhongtong and Shaolin, which sold 10,523 units respectively. , 4,446 vehicles, 3,973 vehicles, 3,723 vehicles, 2,155 vehicles, 1,769 vehicles, 1,757 vehicles, 1,745 vehicles, 1,148 vehicles and 912 vehicles. Compared with May, JMC, Beiqi Foton, Jinlong United and Shaolin declined slightly, while other companies showed different degrees of growth. The growth rate of Jinbei and Zhongtong was even more pronounced. In June 2011, the above-mentioned 10 companies sold a total of 32,200 vehicles, accounting for 77% of the total bus sales.

In the first half of 2011, the top 10 passenger car manufacturers were: Brilliance Jinbei, Jiangling, Nanjing Iveco, Zhengzhou Yutong, Beiqi Futian, Jinlong United, Suzhou Jinlong, Xiamen Golden Bridging, Zhongtong and Shaolin, with sales of 47,300 respectively. There were 29,300 vehicles, 22,100 vehicles, 18,400 vehicles, 12,900 vehicles, 10,800 vehicles, 10,700 vehicles, 10,500 vehicles, 0.44 million vehicles, and 4,300 vehicles. Compared with the same period of 2010, Beiqi Futian and Shaolin have declined, and other companies have maintained steady growth, of which Nanjing Auto Iveco has taken the lead. In the first half of 2011, the above-mentioned 10 companies sold a total of 170,700 vehicles, accounting for 80% of the total sales of passenger cars.
